SkyVue Observation Wheel

The SkyVue observation wheel, currently under construction, is a cable-stayed, steel-trussed wheel structure. Innova worked with the foundation contractor to develop structures to support the anchor bolts at precise elevations and locations in the foundations for the stay cables. The entire support structure was designed to be abandoned in the concrete pour, and therefore needed to be coordinated with the reinforcing layouts in both the foundation mat and the pier. The foundation’s construction was completed in summer and fall 2012.
